LANCASTER — A North Country man who authorities say robbed a convenience store at gunpoint last fall has been indicted by a Coos County Grand Jury.

Edward J. Czubyk, 43, of/ or formerly of 2 Keenan St. in Gorham, was indicted by the grand jury on Feb. 21 on two counts of robbery in connection with an incident on Nov. 11, 2013, at Moe’s Variety on Main Street in Gorham.

According to documents provided by the Coos County Superior Court, Czubyk entered Moe’s Variety and “purposely placed” the clerk there “in fear of the immediate use of force,” by brandishing a Sig Sauer 9mm handgun.

While standing at the checkout, Czubyk, the indictment said, told the clerk to “give me all your money.”

Czubyk is being held on $20,000 cash bond at the Coos County Jail pending an arraignment on March 10 in Coos County Superior Court.
