Several accidents reported in Londonderry

LONDONDERRY - Emergency crews in Londonderry had a hectic afternoon Tuesday, with a number of accidents and spinouts reported around town.

A U.S. Postal Service vehicle slid of the roadway on Mammoth Road earlier this afternoon, with another minor accident reported on Bancroft Road.

So far, no injuries have been reported.

Fortunately by early afternoon, school officials reported that all of the district's buses, with schools closed at noontime on Tuesday, had made their afternoon runs safely ahead of the whiteout conditions despite running slightly behind schedule.
