Seacoast Science Center is open in time for vacation

RYE - Looking for something to do with your kids during winter vacation? The Seacoast Science Center opened Saturday and will be open daily from now on from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Indoors, you can get your hands on some of the amazing creatures that live in the tide pools just outside the doors.

Enjoy hands-on exhibits, activity stations, free hourly programs, and the best view on the seacoast.

Pack a snack or lunch and bring your outdoor gear. You can walk the trails of Odiorne Point State Park in search of animal tracks, x-country ski, snowshoe, or look for the snowy owl that has been frequenting the shore. Warm up in the center and have your lunch in the Learning Studio Gallery.
Environmental camp is offered for children ages 3 1/2 to grade 5 by the day or for the week, Feb. 17-21 and 24-28. Each day is focused on a different theme and takes advantage the natural and historic resources of the Park. Space is limited; sign up today.
