Proposed law would protect pets from domestic violence




CONCORD — The state's domestic violence law doesn't protect family pets that have been abused and used as pawns to control victims, said Sheila Ryan, director of marketing and development for the New Hampshire Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
