Hollis voters to consider $9.1 million budget, 19 articles
A public hearing on the town's proposed $9,194,270 budget and warrant articles will take place tonight at 6:30 in the community room at Town Hall.Next year's proposed budget represents a $576,028 decrease over the current year's budget.
Among the 19 articles on this year's ballot are collective bargaining agreements with the town's police and fire and public works unions.Further information on the two union contracts will be released tonight, as the Budget Committee meets to finalize its recommendations during the public hearing.
The 2014 town ballot also includes Article 8, the proposed purchase of a $20,000 rescue boat, and a proposal to reconstruct and pave the fire station's parking lot to the tune of $87,000.School spending
