Bishop Libasci announces Quebec pilgrimage

MANCHESTER — Bishop Peter A. Libasci and New Hampshire faithful travel to Québec City July 16-18 to celebrate the 350th anniversary of the founding of the Parish of Notre-Dame de Québec, the “mother parish” of all the Catholic parishes of Canada and the United States.

This three-day pilgrimage will include a candlelight procession to the cathedral, a visit to the Shrine of Saint-Anne-de-Beaupre, and guided sightseeing tours culminating in a celebration of Holy Mass with Cardinal-designate Gérald C. Lacroix.

Bishop Libasci said, “We’re thrilled that our beloved brother Cardinal-designate Lacroix has invited his family and friends from New Hampshire to celebrate the 350th anniversary of the founding of the Parish of Notre-Dame de Québec. I look forward to leading this Diocesan Pilgrimage with you to celebrate our Faith, and to celebrate family roots.”

The pilgrimage is being sponsored by the Diocese of Manchester and organized by Canterbury Pilgrimages and Tours of Goffstown.

Register by March 15.
