35.5% of federal disability checks nationally cut for 'mental disorder', 49.5% in NH

The total number of people on disability has doubled since 1995, while U.S. population has only risen 18.8%. During that time, the workforce has expanded just 16.9% but the average SSI disability payment was risen from $458 to $721, a 57.4% increase.
