The Windham High School freshman bounded onto the court to sing her rendition of the Katy Perry song during halftime on Jan. 25 when the New York Knicks hosted the Los Angeles Lakers.
Emma and her mother, Wendy, arrived in the Big Apple several days in advance, where the 14-year-old spent some time in the studio in preparation for her appearance.
Last month she starred as the Ghost of Christmas Past at the Hanover Theatre's annual production of "A Christmas Carol" and over the years she's appeared on stages all over New England.
These days, Emma is represented by RKS Management, a New York City talent agency that has offered continued exposure for the young performer. She hopes to perform on Broadway some day.
