Bishop Libasci announces pastoral appointments


MANCHESTER — Bishop Peter A. Libasci of the Catholic Diocese of Manchester announced the following pastoral appointments this month.

The Rev. Steven G. Montesanti was released to the Diocese of Springfield, Mass. for about two to three years to help minister to his aging parents. Montesanti previously served as pastor of St. Anne Parish in Hampstead.

The Rev. Marc R. Gagne, who served as pastor of Good Shepherd Parish in Berlin and Holy Family Parish in Gorham, was appointed pastor of St. Anne Parish in Hampstead.

The Rev. Kyle Stanton, who was parochial vicar of Good Shepherd Parish in Berlin and Holy Family Parish in Gorham, is now pastor of these parishes.

The Rev. Andrew K. Nelson will serve as parochial vicar of Good Shepherd Parish in Berlin and Holy Family Parish in Gorham.

The above appointments took effect Jan. 22.

The Rev. Msgr. Eddy N. Bisson became temporary administrator of St. Joseph Parish in Belmont effective Jan. 6.
