Bristol warned of phone scam

Bristol police warn residents not to give personal information to telephone solicitors who claim they are from the local Rite Aid pharmacy. Police on Tuesday said the are investigating reports of these solicitors.

Police also ask residents who received these calls to obtain the caller's phone number from their caller ID and the name and immediately call Bristol police either through the 911 emergency line or at 744-2212.
