Dover man faces prison on child pornography charges

DOVER – An Upper Factory Road resident was indicted by a Strafford County Grand Jury after police accused him of having more than two dozen sexually explicit photos of young girls.

Steven Coleman, 46, of 31 Upper Factory Road, was charged with 25 counts of possessing child sexual abuse images – including lewd photos which showed girls being sexually assaulted.

A grand jury handed up the indictments Jan. 16.

Coleman is scheduled to be arraigned Jan. 30 at 9 a.m.

Each count of possessing child sexual abuse images is a Class A felony and could yield up to 7½ to 15 years in prison and a $4,000 fine.
