Cumberland Farms robbed

MANCHESTER — Cumberland Farms on Hanover Street was robbed Monday morning by a man who did not show a weapon.

Police said the man entered the store about 4 a.m., went behind the counter and demanded money from the clerk. After the employee handed over an undisclosed amount of cash, the robber fled the store running west on Hanover Street.

The robber, described as Hispanic and between the ages of 18 and 20, wore a red shirt and gray pants.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call police at 668-8711 or, to remain anonymous, Manchester Crimeline at 624-4040.
