Manchester chamber names interim leader

MICHAEL WHITNEY

MANCHESTER — The Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce has named Michael C. Whitney as interim president.

Whitney will start Feb. 10, three days after Robin Comstock's last day in the office.

Whitney is the managing director of The Daymark Group, LLC, a financial advisory firm that advises privately-owned companies on a broad range of strategic and transactional issues. He serves on the board of directors for the Union Leader Corp., Centrix Bank and New Hampshire Center for Public Policy Studies. Whitney is also chairman of the trustees at the Norwin S. & Elizabeth N. Bean Foundation.

"Since its inception, the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce has been a vital and important part of our community," said Whitney. "I'm delighted to support the Chamber during the critical process of selecting a new leader."
