Police seize drugs worth $13k, arrest Auburn man


AUBURN — State and local police recovered $13,000 worth of illegal drugs and arrested a Manchester Road resident after a two-year investigation into drug dealing in and around Manchester.

Leon Labrie, 49, of 458 Manchester Road, was arrested Thursday afternoon on two counts of sale of a controlled drug. His arrest came after officers with the Manchester Police Special Enforcement Division, along with members of the state police Narcotics Investigative Unit and Auburn police, searched his home. The Manchester Police SWAT team assisted at the scene.

Police said they found cocaine, psilocybin mushrooms, oxycodone, steroids and material consistent with the packaging and sales of illegal drugs.

The search was the culmination of a multi-agency investigation into Labrie and his alleged involvement in drug dealing, according to Manchester police.

Labrie was taken into custody without incident. His bail was set at $20,000 cash/surety.
