NH man pleads guilty to being getaway driver in bank robberies

PORTLAND, Maine - A New Hampshire man pleaded guilty Thursday in U.S. District Court to serving as a getaway driver for three bank robberies in Maine and New Hampshire last October, according to a release from the U.S. Attorney's Office in Maine.
Marvin E. Ansteth Jr., 40, of Somersworth, N.H., was the driver for robberies of People's United Bank in Exeter, N.H., Meredith Village Savings Bank in Alton, N.H. and Kennebunk Savings in Eliot.
He faces up to 25 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
