Discs dotting Bay of Fundy shore from 2011 sewage treatment plant spill in NH


On March 6, 2011, after heavy rain flooded a sewage treatment plant in Hooksett, N.H., anywhere from four million to eight million small filtration discs floated down the Hooksett River and out to sea.
