MILTON — A man accused of hitting another man with a truck and then stabbing him on Saturday is due in court this morning.
Christopher Forcier of Milton was arrested and charged with felony level first-degree assault and reckless conduct.
Police and EMTs responded to Townhouse Road at the intersection of Vachon Drive around 3:20 p.m. on Saturday for a report that a person who had been stabbed in the stomach.
When officers arrived, Brandon Henner said Forcier had attempted to hit him with his truck during an altercation.
Witnesses told police Henner ended up in the back of the pickup truck from the impact.
Forcier then allegedly accelerated the truck with Henner in the bed and lost control, ending up in a ditch on Townhouse Road.
Police said Forcier then stabbed Henner with a knife, causing non-life-threatening injuries.
Henner was also arrested on a warrant at the scene.
Police said Forcier was also arrested by Milton police on Jan. 1 for felony level possession of drugs with intent to distribute, as a result of a search warrant on his Milton residence in which a large amount of marijuana was seized.
Forcier is being held at the Strafford County Jail on a $10,000 cash bail. He is to be arraigned on the charges Monday morning at 11 a.m.
