MANCHESTER - Senior forward Dalton Speelman scored with 2:15 left in the game to lift New Hampshire a 4-2 win over Dartmouth and close out another wild Battle of the RiverStone Cup finish at Verizon Wireless Arena on Saturday night.

Speelman scored one minute and five seconds after Dartmouth had tied the game at 2-2.

Kevin Goumas put in his second goal of the game with 33.3 seconds left to seal it.

UNH won its fourth straight game and improved to 13-10-5. Dartmouth fell to 3-12-2.

Casey DeSmith, the junior for Rochester, had 24 saves for the win.

Dartmouth sophomore Charles Grant stopped 28 shots.

It's all about the ECAC for Dartmouth now. The Big Green are 2-8-0 in their league and play Colgate on Friday and Cornell on Saturday, both at home. The Wildcats play a couple more games against an ECAC team next weekend. Union, 13-4-3, is in for contests on Friday and Saturday. The following weekend, Maine is at UNH on Friday night and teams turn around and play on Saturday night at Maine.

Charlie Mosey, who hit the post earlier in the third period, put a rebound back past DeSmith to tie it 2-2 with 3:40 left in the third period.

The Wildcats weren't done yet.

Sophomore Brad Schierhorn shot from the top of the left faceoff circle and beat DeSmith along the ice just 1:07 into the game.

The Dartmouth lead didn't last long.

Kevin Goumas tied it less than half a minute later. Freshman defenseman Dylan Maller put a shot off the boards that went behind the net and came out the other side to Goumas, who knocked the puck in.

Senior defenseman Justin Agosta also assisted.

Matt Willows notched his 12th goal of the season to give UNH the lead at the midpoint of the period. Willows deflected Eric Knodel's power play bid from out front past Grant.

Willows has six goals in his last four games and at least one in each of those contests.

The Wildcats had several good chances to expand on their lead in the second period, but could not get a shot past Grant.

He stopped linemates Tyler Kelleher and Grayson Downing in close early in the period. Later, he had a super save on Goumas on the power play and got a leg pad on a Dalton Speelman bid.
