Saint Anselm Hawk women skate past FPU

Five different women scored and Lindsey Brown made 12 saves for the shutout in St. Anselm College’s 5-0 victory over Franklin Pierce University on Sunday at Sullivan Arena. Franny Nicholson, Tiffany Herron, Sarah Geisinger, Alex Kazmer and Andi Foss scored for the Hawks (11-1).

Chestnut Hill 79, SNHU 72 (OT): Chestnut Hill College outscored Southern New Hampshire University 17-10 in overtime to post a non-conference victory in Philadelphia on Sunday. The Penmen (5-7) were led by Brooke Springfield, of Jaffrey, who scored 17 points.
Rivier 90, Lesley 46: In Nashua, Hudson’s Deanna Purcell scored 16 points to lead River (7-2), which bolted to a 19-0 lead.
Franklin Pierce 90, NYIT 77: Kara Charette’s career-high 28 points led FPU (6-6).
