Three charged with invading Nashua home and attacking residents

NASHUA — Police arrested three people in connection with a home invasion a week ago on Crown Street in which one person was hit in the head with a PVC pipe and a man was slashed in the hand with a knife.

Arrested on charges of burglary and robbery were: Cassandra Gurley, 21, no fixed address; Richard Gurley, 18, of 79 Ash St.; and Matthew Escamilla, 25, of 23 Temple St., Apt. 119.

The home invasion happened at 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 27 at 37 Crown St. Police said the two victims, who live together, told them four people entered their apartment, assaulted them and took some cash.

Police said the investigation is continuing and more arrests are expected.
