Truck fire jumps to Nashua building

Nashua firefighters responding to a fire in a pick-up truck found themselves battling a house fire on New Year's Eve, as the truck fire spread to a nearby building.

Fire officials said the fire at 2 West Hobart St. began in the truck but the flames leaped to the buildings and the exterior of the structure soon began burning.

The first crews on the scene had the fire out within minutes, officials said.

There were no injuries, Deputy Chief Kevin Kerrigan reported.
