NASHUA — A Massachusetts developer announced this week it has signed two new tenants for its site under construction along the Daniel Webster Highway.
According to Diane Podaski of Linear Retail Properties LLC, the new development at 219 Daniel Webster Highway will be home to Noodles & Company restaurant and b.good restaurant.
Construction of Daniel Webster Shops is expected to be completed very soon, according to Podaski, who said the two new restaurants are hoping to open in the spring.
The Nashua site will be Noodles & Company's first restaurant in New England, according to its website, which indicates the closest restaurants are in Pennsylvania and Maryland.
Noodles and Company uses hard amber durum wheat for its pasta dishes and features meals such as Alfredo Mont Amore, Thai Hot Pot and Pork Adobo Flatbread, says the site.
The second restaurant, b.good, has several sites in Massachusetts, but this will be the company's first restaurant in New Hampshire, according to its website.
The restaurant features burgers, sandwiches, salads and shakes, highlighting its motto of serving real food prepared by real people.
Linear Retail Properties previously acquired two separate parcels at 219 and 285 Daniel Webster Highway.
The property at 219 Daniel Webster Highway was purchased from Cumberland Farms Inc. for $1.45 million and razed to make space for Daniel Webster Shops, a 12,000-square-foot retail property that will house the two new restaurants.
The property at 285 Daniel Webster Highway remains the site of Chili's Bar and Grill.
Also announced this week is Linear Retail's newest acquisition at 304 Daniel Webster Highway, current home to Uno Chicago Grill. Linear purchased the nearly 5,700-square-foot property for $3.1 million, according to a release.
Podaski said Tuesday that Uno, housed at the primary entrance to the Pheasant Lane Mall, will be staying at the location.
Aubrey Cannuscio, partner of acquisitions with Linear Retail, described the property at 304 Daniel Webster Highway as "arguably the best retail site in southern New Hampshire."
According to the city's property records posted online, the property was previously owned by Francis T. Sullivan, trustee.
"We continue to focus our efforts on acquiring many more retail properties of similar high quality," Cannuscio said in the release.
Linear Retail, based in Burlington, Mass., now owns six properties in Nashua.
