Man hit, killed on tarmac at Boston's Logan Airport
BOSTON — State police said a man's body was found on the tarmac at Logan International Airport about 7:30 p.m. Monday. He was apparently struck and killed by a truck, officials said.
Jake Wark, a spokesman for Suffolk District Attorney Daniel F. Conley, told the Boston Globe the death took place at a cargo terminal.
"The preliminary information is that an employee on the tarmac suffered fatal injuries after being hit by a truck as it was traveling in reverse in the area of a plane, and it does not suggest that he was struck by a plane," Wark said in a statement.
He said the death appeared to be accidental.
