Cape Air, Lebanon Airport reach 10,000-passenger goal

LEBANON — Cape Air carried its 10,000th passenger in 2013 from the Lebanon Municipal Airport on Dec 26 and is now eligible for $1 million in federal Department of Transportation airport improvement funding for 2014, the company announced Monday.

Cape Air, which started service from the airport in November 2008, says passenger ridership has increased year over year since it initiated the flights, the company said in a news release. Last year, Cape Air carried 10,000 passengers from the airport for the first time in 10 years.

Cape Air provides four daily flights from Lebanon to Boston Logan International Airport and two daily flights from Westchester County White Plains Airport, with complimentary ground transportation to midtown Manhattan. The company partners with JetBlue.
