Sisters injured in skiing accident at Bear Peak

BARTLETT - Two sisters were involved in a skiing accident at Bear Peak on Friday, December 27.

Ski patrol responded and after evaluations assessed the 18-year old sister showed signs and symptoms of a head injury and EMTs were called. She was transported to Memorial Hospital in North Conway where
she was seen by a doctor and shortly thereafter released.

The accident happened on a relatively flat, low-traffic area of Bear Peak, which is part of Attitash Ski Area.

The Attitash Ski Patrol Director reported, "The parents of the girl followed up with us indicating her release from the hospital and expressing thanks and our responding ski patrol."
