Fugitive caught in Portsmouth closes


PORTSMOUTH – Police arrested a man wanted by authorities in New Hampshire and Maine after finding him hiding in a closet in an apartment in Portsmouth.

Scott Sousa, 25, with a last known address in Rochester, was found hiding in a closet at Gosling Meadows aftert police were tipped off as to where he had been staying.
He is wanted on chargesof being a fugitive from justice, and on probation, parole and bench warrants.

Portsmouth police had been seeking Sousa on a purse snatching charge.
