Police said a man pried opened the rear door to get inside the Sparkle Clean Car Wash on Union Avenue. He then proceeded to force open the bill-changing machine. But detectives said he left the business three times, leaving with an undisclosed amount of cash after his third visit.

The suspect is described as being about 5-foot 8-inches in height, wearing a dark-colored mask, black pants and black boots.

Police asked anyone with information to contact Laconia Police at (603) 524-5252 or the Greater Laconia Crie Line at (603) 524-1717.
