Manchester police make 3 narcotic-related arrests
MANCHESTER - The police Street Crime Unit arrested two people Friday night for alleged possession of narcotics.
Richard Mitchell, 35, of 32B Roy St., Raymond, was stopped on Central St. about 4 p.m. He is charged with possession of a small amount of what it believed to be crack cocaine, police said.
John Parker, 49, of 599 Union St., was stopped at Lincoln and Cedar streets about 10:156 p.m. He is charged with two counts of possession of a narcotic - crack cocaine, police said. Parker also is charged with violating bail conditions stemming from a November arrest on drug-related charges.
In an unrelated matter, police said they arrested Aaron Jordan, 35, of Northfield at Lake Avenue and Pine Street early Sunday morning for allegedly driving under the influence of heroin. He also is charged with possession of a narcotic.
All will be arraigned at a later date.
