Dog that saved family Thanksgiving weekend receives proclamation for heroism

Selectmen on Wednesday gave a proclamation to Aggie the St. Bernard, a Dighton-born canine named after Bristol Agricultural High School in town. Aggie, who now resides in New Hampshire, saved the lives of Dighton resident Ruth Leonard and her family members over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
