High School Roundup: Memorial hockey team edges Trinity

Brendon Johnson's goal with 2:42 remaining in the third period handed the Manchester Memorial boys' hockey team a 3-2 victory over Trinity of Manchester on Saturday at St. Anselm College on Saturday.
Nick Burgess and Brady Sufat also scored for Memorial, which trailed 2-1 early in the third.
The victory raised Memorial's Division I record to 2-0-1. Michell Myers scored twice for Trinity, which dropped to 2-1-0. Memorial goalie Brandan McKenzie made 28 saves. Trinity received 16 saves from freshman Curtis Wirbal.
Bedford 7, Windham-Pelham 2: At Salem, senior forward Chris Viola scored four goals to highlight Bedford's victory. Nate Boyd added two goals for Bedford, which also received a goal from Harry Voloshin. The Bulldogs improved their Division II record to 2-0.
Dustin Lubinger and Porter Carelli scored for Windham-Pelham (1-1).
Kennett 5, ConVal 3: At Winchendon, Mass., Nick Ansalvi scored two goals and Brad Canivari collected a goal and an assist as Kennett of Conway raised its Division III record to 1-1. Jason Haley had a goal and an assist for ConVal of Peterborough.
Central-Hanover on Monday: The Manchester Central-Hanover game originally scheduled for Saturday will be played Monday at JFK Coliseum in Manchester. The puck drops at 4:30 p.m.
ConVal 5, Manchester West 4: At JFK Coliseum in Manchester on Wednesday, ConVal built an early lead.
Carl Svensson set up a pair of goals for Isaiah Taylor to put the Cougars up 2-0. Ryan Thibault made it 3-0 before Zach Allard got West on the board.
Erik Leger made it 4-1 ConVal, but back came West with goals from Alex Wright and Noah Cote before Leger struck again to make it 5-3. Wright tallied again early in the third but West could pull no closer.
Oyster River 5, ConVal 0: At Durham Thursday, ConVal goalie Lilly Grisafi kept the game close as Oyster River of Durham led 2-0 after two periods before pulling away late.
Windham 65, Goffstown 62: At Windham, Friday, David Carbonello defended Tim Riel's 3-point attempt at the buzzer, which fell short. Windham (2-0) was led by Tyler Masone (17 points), Carbonello (13 points) and Andrew Lowman (13 points). Goffstown (0-2) got 22 points from Patrick Kelsey.
ConVal 54, Manchester West 28: At Manchester Wednesday, ConVal (1-1) went on a 17-5 second quarter run that included three 3-pointers (two from Jess Nerz and one from Jordan Mills).
