Portsmouth again orders owner of historic home to replace chimney toppled by storm




The controversy began in April, when Massachusetts engineer Thomas Neve wrote to the Historic District Commission that the chimney blew off the Jeremiah Hart House, owned by his client, during a snow and wind storm and fell “onto the ground surrounding the building.”
