New Ipswich cafeteria worker accused of inappropriate online contact with minor

A cafeteria worker at a New Ipswich high school is accused of sending inappropriate online messages to an underaged student using Facebook and Gmail.
William Geffe, 40, of Hollis is charged with prohibited uses of computer services. Geffe was employed by Café Services of Londonderry and was the cafeteria director at Mascenic Regional High School in New Ipswich, police said.
Geffe was arraigned Dec. 2 in 8th Circuit Court, Jaffrey District Division. He waived his probable cause hearing Dec. 10. His case is being forwarded to the Hillsborough County Superior Court for possible indictment.
Police said they were notified Geffe may be sending inappropriate electronic messages to an underaged child.
Members of the New Hampshire Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force assisted in the investigation which they said revealed Geffe continued to contact a student through Facebook and Gmail.
Police arrested Geffe Nov. 30 and seized several electronic devices from the Hollis home where he was staying.
It appears the case involves this one incident, police said. However, New Ipswich police ask anyone Geffe may have contacted to call them at 878-2771.
