Police looking for information about blood on Pelham road

PELHAM — Police are investigating what was termed a “significant” amount of blood found on a local road early Sunday.

Pelham police say they responded to the intersection of Marsh and Mammoth roads at 8:45 a.m. Sunday, to investigate a report of blood found on the pavement. Upon arrival, officers reported finding what they called a “significant” amount of blood in the area, along with a painter’s cap on the ground nearby.

Pelham police are looking for any information regarding what took place in the area of 199 Marsh Road, where they say a loud dispute may have taken place around 2 a.m. on Sunday.

Pelham police said their investigation is ongoing, and they have no reason to believe the public is in any danger. Anyone with information regarding the blood or the dispute should call Sgt. Anne Perriello or Officer Brian Barbato at 635-2411.
