Dover police arrest 3 on drug charges

DOVER — Three people were arrested Thursday following an investigation into drug activity at a Maple Street apartment building, police said in a release.

The Attorney General's Drug Task Force and Dover police, "after a lengthy investigation," obtained an arrest warrant for Cedric Ross, 32, of 28 Maple St., on charges of selling drugs and a search warrant for a neighboring apartment at 28 Maple St. occupied by Shawn Hill, 44, the release said. Ross was found riding in a car on Chestnut Street about 5:20 p.m. Thursday and arrested.

Shortly after Ross was arrested, police raided Hill's apartment and found heroin inside and Hill was charged with drug possession, the release said.

In Hill's apartment, police also found Elaine Gribble, 32, who was wanted on a warrant out of York County, Maine, on charges of stealing "dangerous" drugs, the release said.
