Man turns himself in for Dover burglary warrant

DOVER — Police say a man wanted on a felony burglary warrant turned himself in on Wednesday.

Joseph D. Graham, 33, is one of two men accused of forcing their way into an apartment on Maple Street and demanding money from a man and woman inside. Police say the man and woman resisted, leading to a physical struggle that left the people inside the residence with minor injuries.

One of the residents reported seeing a gun, but no shots were fired.

Dover police put out an alert for other departments to be on the look out for the two men and Graham was stopped by police in Berwick, Maine, later Saturday but escaped on foot.Graham turned himself in around 11:15 a.m. Wednesday and was being held on $20,000 cash bail. His arraignment was scheduled for today.

The other man was later identified as Joshua Royer, 33, whose last know address was in Somersworth. Royer is described as 5-foot-10 and 185 pounds with brown hair, blue eyes and "scruffy" facial hair.
