NASHUA - A city man is under arrest, accused of threatening a man with a knife on Saturday in the area of Main and Canal streets.

Michael Harris, 44, of 44 Ledge St., is charged with criminal threatening and falsifying physical evidence, both class B felonies.

Police said Harris threatened a man with a knife and then threw the weapon away in an effort to conceal it from investigators.

Investigators said a record check indicated Harris is a convicted felon and, as a result, he was charged with being a convicted felon in possession of a weapon, another class B felony.

What's next: Harris was detained, pending arraignment Monday in 9th Circuit Court, Nashua District Division.
