H.S. Football: Knight leads South past North

Quarterback Trevor Knight made his final game in a Nashua South football uniform a productive one.

Knight passed for three touchdowns and ran for two more to help Nashua South defeat Nashua North 41-21 Thursday at Nashua’s Stellos Stadium.

Knight passed for three touchdowns in the first half, when South built a 27-7 lead. Both of his TD runs came in the fourth quarter.

He completed the season with 19 touchdown passes and 19 TDs on the ground.

South also received a touchdowns on Tyler Boudreau’s 38-yard fumble return. The Panthers completed their season with a 9-2 record.

Matt Lavallee had two TD passes for North, which finished 3-7.

It was South’s second victory over North this season.

South won the regular-season game 35-27.

South has a 7-3 edge in its Thanksgiving Day series with North, and leads the overall series 14-7.
