Seniors Count forum on saving energy Dec. 9
NASHUA — Learn energy-saving tips that help homeowners save energy at a free Seniors Count-Nashua workshop Monday, Dec. 9 at 1 p.m. at the Nashua Senior Activity Center.

Representatives from Southern New Hampshire Services' Weatherization Program will present the workshop.

The center is located at 70 Temple St. in Nashua. Advance registration is requested. Call Beth Todgham at 889-3440, ext. 132 for more information. Workshop participants can come early to enjoy lunch offered by St. Joseph Community Services (Meals on Wheels) in the cafeteria at the Nashua Senior Activity Center.

A $2 donation is requested for diners age 60 and over; the price is slightly higher for those under 60. Pre-registration for lunch is required. Call Steve, SJCS site manager, at 882-2106 to reserve your lunch.

Lunch is served from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.

Decorating Littleton senior center is Dec. 3

LITTLETON — The Littleton Area Senior Center is inviting people to help decorate the center for the holidays on Tuesday, Dec. 3 at 1 p.m. Refreshments will be served at 77 Riverglen Lane, Littleton.

Parkinson's support meets in New London

NEW LONDON — The Parkinson's Support Group will meet Tuesday, Dec. 3 at 1 p.m. at the Kearsarge Area Council on Aging.

It will be at the COA's building at 37 Pleasant St. in New London.

Alzheimer's basics program coming Dec. 5

NEW LONDON — A program titled "Alzheimer's & Dementia: Basics for Everyone" will be presented Thursday, Dec. 5 at 1 p.m. It will be at the Kearsarge Area Council on Aging at 37 Pleasant St., and presented by Dianne Collins, RN of the Lake Sunapee Region VNA. Call 526-6368 to register.

Blood pressure clinic offered in New London

NEW LONDON — A blood pressure and glucose screening clinic and Ask a Nurse will be held Friday, Dec. 6 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Foot care clinic will be Dec. 6 and 13

NEW LONDON — The VNA foot care clinic will be held at the Kearsarge Area Council on Aging building on Friday, Dec. 6 from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. and Friday, Dec. 13 from 1 to 3 p.m.

The cost is $20 and a doctor's order is required for diabetics. Call COA at 526-6368 to schedule an appointment. It will be at the Kearsarge Area Council on Aging building, 37 Pleasant St.

Get the computer kinks out Dec. 7

NEW LONDON — Get your computer questions answered Dec. 7 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Kearsarge Area Council on Aging building, 37 Pleasant St. Laura Thompson will offer one-on-one 30-minute appointments. Sign up by calling 526-6368.

Christmas Bazaar coming to Littleton

LITTLETON — The Littleton Area Senior Center will hold its Christmas Bazaar Sat., Dec. 7 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. with lunch available. It will include a variety of crafts and a white elephant table.

Bedford Seniors plan trip to Foxwoods
BEDFORD — The Bedford Seniors offers trips open to all New Hampshire residents. A group will travel to Newport, R.I., on Wednesday, Dec. 4, to visit the Breakers and the Elms mansions, which will be decorated for Christmas. The cost is $89 and lunch is on your own.

AARP sets schedule for driver refresher classes

The AARP Driver Safety Program has announced the December lineup for its driver refresher course. The usually two-part class, which is open to any age driver, but geared to people over 50 costs $12 for AARP members and $14 for nonmembers. Preregistration is required. Nashua: Dec. 3-4, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, 2300 Southwood Drive. Call 594-3628.
