Holly Ann Travis of Bedford and Finith Jernigan III of Salisbury, Md., were married in a double-ring ceremony by the Rev. Barbara Lodge at the Carolina Inn in Chapel Hill, N.C.

The bride is the daughter of Kevin and Sharon Travis of Bedford. The groom is the son of Finith Jernigan II and Beth Jernigan of Salisbury.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents.

The matron of honor was Kristen Roy of North Andover, Mass., sister of the bride.

Other bridal attendants were Celeste Dustin and Joanna Dustin, both of Concord, Julie Gallagher of Maplewood, N.J., and Megan Goodale of Bedford. The flower girl was Aubrey Belle Roy, niece of the bride, and the ring bearer was Henry Theodore Roy, nephew of the bride.

The best man was Devin Jernigan of Philadelphia, brother of the groom. Ushers were Christopher Hoffman of Eau Claire, Wis., Kyle Hoffman of Aitken, Miss., Brendan Joyce of Manchester and Jeremy Roy of North Andover.

A reception was held in the Old Well Ballroom at the Carolina Inn. After a two-week honeymoon in Italy, the couple will reside in Tyngsboro, Mass.

The bride graduated from Manchester High School West, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Michigan State University. She is an elementary school teacher in Lawrence, Mass.

The groom graduated from James M. Bennett High School in Salisbury and Salisbury University. He earned a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is a postdoctoral research fellow at Harvard Medical School.
