Benefit open house in Whitefield

WHITEFIELD — American Legion Post 41 will hold a free veterans benefit open house on Saturday, Nov. 23, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The program is open to all veterans and family members, and will be held at the Ingerson-Smith Post 41, 44 Littleton Road, next to the Whitefield Fire Station.

Highlighting this open house will be the White River Veterans Administration Medical Center's "mobile van" and a mental health counselor from the Berlin Veterans Center in Gorham will be in attendance.
American Legion representatives will be available to answer questions concerning American Legion programs and benefits. The VA representative will also be able to render free assistance in completing and filing a VA claim.
You do not need to be a member of The American Legion to get assistance. Call 837-3173.
