November 20. 2013 6:24PM

CONCORD — New Hampshire has a new Baptist church, which will open Sunday with services being held in leased space at the Grappone Conference Center.

“We came up here for the need for another Baptist church in Concord,” Pastor Peter Chamberland said Wednesday.

Chamberland said the Shenandoah Baptist Church in Cleveland, Tenn. sent him here as a missionary to found a new church here.

The Granite State Baptist Church will hold Sunday worship services at 10 a.m. in the Grappone Conference Cente, 70 Constitution Ave.

Sunday School will be held at 9 a.m.

Church services will be held at the Grappone center until the church finds a permanent location.
