Campton man charged with growing marijuana
CAMPTON — A local man is under arrest for growing marijuana after a lengthy police investigation that resulted in the seizure of 130 marijuana plants.
Peter Apicelli, 29, turned himself into police and was charged with a felony count of manufacture of controlled drugs.
Police said they also seized numerous bags of marijuana, paraphernalia and other drug-related items.
Apicelli's arrest came after a lengthy investigation that involved Campton police, the New Hampshire Drug Task Force and the Grafton County Sheriff's Office.
What's next: Apicelli is free on personal recognizance bail, pending arraignment Jan. 6 in 2nd Circuit Court, Plymouth District Division.
