Mass. college student faked hitting NH deer after fatal hit-and-run, police allege


An 18-year-old University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth student is charged with killing a father of two with his SUV, then fleeing to New Hampshire where he tried to convince cops he had only hit a deer — using an Internet photo to support his story, prosecutors said.
