Abigail Hernandez disappearance: No threat to Conway community says law enforcement
Law enforcement officials say they still have no any hard evidence to support any direction or theory in the missing person case of the 15-year-old, whose last text — a heart symbol — to her boyfriend, Kennett High freshman Jimmy Campbell, at 2:52 p.m. on Oct. 9, marked the last time she has been heard from.
"We have nothing to indicate that there is any threat to the community from this case," said the FBI's Kieran Ramsey.
"We don't have any information of any significant danger (to the community) whatsoever," said Senior Associate Attorney General Jane Young.
"We've seen through so many cases in recent years, parents should really be vigilant," Young said.
"People in the Mt. Washington Valley still believe that Abby will be found and we aren't giving up. Although we all wish we knew more, we also acknowledge that this is an ongoing investigation and that law enforcement can't just release information about the details to the general public."
