Open house at Manchester's former Odd Fellows Hall
MANCHESTER — City leaders plan to showcase the renovated Dearborn Memorial Building/Odd Fellows Hall on Thursday when they hold an open house at the 434 Lake Ave. building.
The event will include a tour of the four-story building and an introduction to the tenants — three social service agencies and a Manchester Police Department substation. Also open will the the fourth-floor event center, which will be available for neighborhood meetings and community-based activities.
The building, how called the 434 Lake Ave. Community Resource Center, hosts the Manchester Community Resource Center, the Organization for Refugee and Immigrant Success and The Way Home.
The open house is free and open to the public. It will take place from 4 to 6:30 p.m. and will include speeches, appetizers and building tours.
Mayor Ted Gatsas and Community Development and Planning Director Leon Lafreniere are scheduled to be on hand.
