ROCHESTER — A Seabrook man was flown to a Maine hospital after his motorcycle left Route 108 and crashed Monday.
Police, firefighters and emergency personnel responded around 11:46 a.m. after a 2009 Yamaha YZF-R6 motorcycle driven by Christopher D. Philbrick, 23, of Seabrook, drove off Rochester Hill Road, Route 108, near Skyhaven Airport.
Following a preliminary investigation, police believe the motorcycle crashed in a grassy area after leaving the road. Investigators do not believe other vehicles were involved. Philbrick and his passenger, Alisha Hills, 19, of Seabrook, were wearing helmets, according to police.
While Hills escaped injuries, Philbrick was flown to Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine. His condition was not available, but Philbrick was still in the emergency room Monday afternoon, according to a hospital spokeswoman.
The accident remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact Officer John Harding at 330-7128.
