Maple Suites presents elderly driving seminar
DOVER — Maple Suites will host a seminar on Wednesday, Nov. 20 at 6:30 p.m. by The Alzheimer's Association titled "Driving — when it is time to give up the car keys."
The seminar is especially geared for families and caregivers of those who are dealing with Alzheimer's or dementia.
This seminar will help prepare you to make that important decision for a loved one and ease you through the transition process.

The Arbors holding Wreath Stroll Auction
BEDFORD — The Arbors of Bedford will host its first fund-raising Wreath Stroll Auction Thursday, Nov. 21, from 4 to 7 p.m.

Salvation Army hosts senior Thanksgiving
MANCHESTER — Manchester and Bedford residents over age 65 are invited to the annual Thanksgiving luncheon for seniors at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26 at the Salvation Army.
It is at 121 Cedar St., Manchester. Entertainment will be provided by Paul Bordeleau and Doug Ricard.

Littleton center plans pie sale for Thanksgiving
LITTLETON — The Littleton Area Senior Center, 77 Riverglen Lane, will host a pie sale the day before Thanksgiving on Wednesday, Nov. 27 at 9 a.m. until all the pies are gone. Pies will be $10 each. To donate a pie for the sale, call the center at 444-6050.
Retired educators host Christmas social, lunch
MANCHESTER — The Manchester Area Retired Educators Association (MAREA) will hold its annual Christmas Social and luncheon at the Manchester Country Club on Wednesday, Dec. 4. A social hour will be held from 11 a.m. to noon.
Any retired educator or support person who has worked or lives in the Manchester area or wishes to participate is invited to attend and become a member.
For the ninth year in a row, MAREA will be collecting donations and addressing the needs of our veterans at the Veterans Administration Medical Center.
Chicken marsala or baked haddock will be served. Reservations must be paid for by Nov. 20. Call Joe at 622-2285.
