Cornucopia Project celebrates its garden growth in Peterborough

Current and past board members, friends and staff and Cornucopia children filled the nonprofit’s office for the party.
“It’s major for us,” said board member Laura Hansen said of the new position.
Board members also announced that the children’s gardening project will be running in all ConVal School District schools this coming year.
Since last year, the Cornucopia Project has been running a program out of the community garden at the Peterborough Community Center that grows produce for the town food pantry. Once the community center opens its planned community kitchen, Cornucopia will be teach children cooking at the community center.
