Bow police report thefts from 9 unlocked cars, 2 homes

BOW — Police are investigating thefts from unlocked cars and homes, according to a release.

Police said there have been nine thefts from cars since Sept. 1. In each case, police said, the thefts happened between 4 and 6 a.m. and involved cash being stolen from cars that were left unlocked.
Police are also investigating two residential burglaries that happened at unlocked homes on Oct. 25 and Nov. 6, the release said. In the first burglary, guns and a computer were stolen, while a computer and other electronics were stolen in the second, the release said. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 228-0511.
