Litchfield man arrested after police say he was driving wrong way on I-93

LONDONDERRY - A Litchfield man was arrested early Tuesday morning after state police say he was driving the wrong way on Interstate 93 northbound in the Londonderry and Manchester area.
State police received a report of a wrong-way driver about 1:40 a.m. Tuesday, with a driver reported to be driving south in the northbound lane. State troopers and Londonderry police found a car off the interstate in the area of Exit 5 in Londonderry.
Roderick Lefort, 28, of Litchfield, was not injured, according to police, and no other vehicles were involved. Lefort was subsequently arrested by Trooper A. P. Monaco for driving while intoxicated.
